The Woodrow Wilson freshman football team, sometimes called “Wildkittens,” proved their mettle by beating Conrad High freshmen, 14-0, last night.
The junior varsity team also won, 22-12.
The varsity team (4-1) takes on Conrad (3-2) in a key game tonight at 7:30 at Franklin Field.
The Dallas Morning News predicted a close game and that the winner should have a good shot at the district title.
Admission is $5 at the gate.
