Woodrow Fundraiser to Clean Up

A sure sign of the impending school year, and a Woodrow girls sports tradition, takes place this weekend.
Aspirants to the Woodrow Wilson High School girls volleyball Wildcats, varsity and junior varsity, conduct the annual car wash fundraiser from noon-2 at the Glasgow Car Wash.
Volunteers are asked to bring towels or shammies, promotional signs, drinking water, and sunscreen.
Car wash owners donated use of two of the washing bays so funds raised come from donations by drivers whose cars come out looking clean and shiny.
