Having a Blast
By Bruce Felps
Carnival fun reaches orbital heights this weekend at The Children’s Center, located in Little Forest Hills.
The preschool operates its spring carnival, called Blast Off, from 3-6 p.m., May 1, rain or shine, at the school.
Events and activities include the Asteroid Blast, aka: beanbag toss, the Planet Walk until the music stops, Fishing for Stars, or the all time favorite Moon Dig.
The kids will bounce on the “moon” — which sound suspiciously like the obligatory bounce house — ride the ponies or simply pet the animals after getting their faces painted.
Wristband passes for unlimited use of all rides and games can be purchased for $25 the day of the event or $20 prior to the event. Call (214) 823-2119 for more information or advance wristband sales.
