Chefs cook from farmers market

The food awaiting diners along the serving line at Highland Park Cafeteria March 13 will get a top-shelf chef treatment.
The Chefs for Farmers benefit — on behalf of local food producers and The Family Place — starts at 4 p.m., it is a cafeteria, March 13 at the Casa Linda Plaza eatery.
More details reside here, but in a nutshell some of the top chefs in Dallas prepare dinner entrees and sides from area farmers. The chefs — organized by Matt and Iris McCallister — will be available to chat with patrons as they move along the cafeteria line.
The event costs $85 per person, excluding tax and service fee but including drinks, and likely not of the adult variety.
