Good for the Goose

By Bruce Felps

Throughout the year, Blue Goose Cantina offered various dining specials based on a differing type of quesadilla of the month.

Restaurant management set aside a percentage of those quesadilla sales to donate to a worthy cause.

That donation takes place today at 3 p.m., at the Lower Greenville location, when Blue Goose representatives present a ceremonial check worth $10,230 to officials of Empower Your Future.

A nonprofit organization founded by Dallas police veteran Joe Chatham, Empower Your Future works to bolster area at-risk students through endurance, perseverance, and education.

Quesadillas sound good right about now.

And the brisket quesadilla is killer! A steal at $10 and it will feed 2 or make 2 or meals for one person! Thursday is a good day to go also, $3 queso and margaritas! I am making myself hungry…may just have to go there tomorrow!
