Auction to Benefit Lipscomb
By Bruce Felps
Lipscomb Elementary School supporters hope to raise some significant funding for the Lions with a fundraiser set for one week from tonight.
The 2010 Lipscomb Silent Auction starts at 7 p.m., Nov. 4, at Times Ten Cellars.
The free community event — Lipscomb serves Munger Place Historic District, Junius Heights Historic District, and Swiss Avenue Historic District — features auction items such as YMCA memberships, hotel stays, spa treatments, birthday party packages, photography, restaurant certificates, and more, so much more.
Call Amy Tate at (214) 228-1392 for more, so much more information.
Thanks to Kyle Rains, who took all the photos during last year’s Lipscomb auction.

This is such a fun event – I highly recommend attending!
For the second year, Preservation Tree Services will be donating a tree and planting package to the auction. This year’s tree is a 6-8 ft Desert Willow tree. Preservation will plant the tree on the Lipscomb campus to honor the late Leslie Weezner, beloved school counselor.
Come out Thursday night and support Lipscomb!

So sorry to have spelled Leslie’s name incorrectly. It should be Weesner.
