Taking a Closer Look
by Bruce Felps
Parents of students enrolled at Woodrow Wilson High School can take a close look at the school life lived by their kids during this year’s Woodrow Fall Open House and Mini-School.
It all takes place starting at 6 p.m., Sept. 13, in the girl’s gym at the school.
Parents can visit all their kids’ classrooms, meet the coaches and, presumably, the teachers, meet their parenting peers, learn about clubs and organizations, and just set out to become more involved in Woodrow and their kids’ educations.
Parental involvement, according to the Woodrow PTA, means a better educational experience for a given student.
