Styling Woodrow Style
by Bruce Felps
Woodrow Wilson High School students, their parents, younger siblings at J.L. Long Middle School, relatives, and Woodrow alums — yes, all of them — again this year can wear their Wildcat loyalty on their sleeves.
Well, their chests and backs, anyway.
Woodrow T-shirts — white with red capital “WOODROW” on the front — recently went on sale for $10 this school year.
A new line of T-shirts, black with white letters that spell out “WOODROW” on the front and “KEEPIN’ IT FRESH” — a new slogan for all Woodrow on the back — on the back, comes in short-sleeve for $15 and long-sleeve at $20.
The PTA also offers drawstring backpacks for $10, blankets with a silver paw print go for $20.
Contact Beverly Regan to place an order, or look for sales areas at football games and in the horseshoe “some” spirit days.

Even old Wildcats can “Keep it Fresh” with new versions and additions to our tall tales of 35 years ago. Sometimes it takes decades to get all the details of what happened back in the hallowed halls of The Shrine. This is not entertaining to outsiders.
