Doctors Hospital proud as a peacock
by Bruce Felps
Our friends over at Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake received a little attention from NBCDFW (KXAS-TV Channel 5) yesterday.
Reporter Ashanti Blaize did a piece, website and broadcast, on the hospital’s use of LifeNet, a remote system by which emergency medical personnel send a heart-attack patient’s vital life signs and electrocardiogram, EKG, data from an ambulance to the awaiting emergency department, the physician, and the catheterization laboratory.
The system saves precious time and lives.
Credit where credit’s due. Nice.
