Everything comes with strings attached.
Earlier this week, we conducted a little contest to award four tickets to the final summer show of the Cool Thursdays concert series at the Dallas Arboretum.
Two sisters — Cindy Walkup and Beth Labos Basile — who happen to be Cunninghams by birth, hey Bulldog, claimed the tickets and, as Beth wrote in, “We really enjoyed the evening, the music was great!”
I allowed the exclamation mark … this time.
The “we” also included husbands Jim Walkup and Greg Basile, along with Greg’s son, Connor.
To earn their reward, though, I asked them to snap some photos at the concert, which played just last night, and the ladies graciously agreed and complied.

The concert was AWESOME!! (2 explanation marks.) We really enjoyed the evening. Fast Lane is a great band. It was my first time to ever win anything. It was great to score the tickets. Thanks for the great experience, Bruce.

let’s not forget to thank Terry Lendecker and Kim McClure at the arboretum. they fronted me the tickets for the giveaways.
