Judy, Minnelli draw national attention

The friendship between Judy and Minnelli, the Great Dane and goat friends, attracted the attention of National Geographic — the network not the magazine.
I received an e-mail last night from, and subsequently spent nearly half an hour on the phone with, an associate producer of the show “Unlikely Animal Friends” on NatGeo — as it’s known to we TV insiders.
The network hopes to produce an episode about the best-buds, but of course, that’s on hold just now while the goat does hard time after getting popped by the sheriff’s department.
We’ll know more July 23 after the 18-day mandated quarantine period expires. Stay tuned.
