Walk, wag, running to different site
by Bruce Felps
Earlier today, I engaged in a little confab with my new best friends, Scott Manis, Eric Stokes, and Allison Lewis of Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake.
During the course of conversation, I found out that Doctors Hospital will serve as one of the presenting sponsors of this year’s Walk, Wag, and Run, which, of course, is operated by the Lakewood Service League as a fundraiser for For the Love of the Lake, the YMCA at White Rock, and, new this year, Friends of the White Rock Lake Dog Park.
This bit of news kind of surprised me. This is the seventh year for Walk, Wag, and Run, and for the first time it won’t take place at Winfrey Point. Instead, it moves over to Doctors Hospital, which pretty much abuts the Celebration Tree Grove and over White Rock Lake lands.
Just goes to show Doctors Hospital is spreading the community love.

In fact, we’ll be using the Celebration Tree Grove for our dog walk with agility stations! Truly a community event!
