Durand Announces Retirement from C.C. Young
Staff Report
Kenneth Durand, who’s spent 27 years as president and CEO of C.C. Young retirement center, today let known his intentions to step down from the post effective Sept. 30.
During the three-month lag time, the C.C. Young board of directors will appoint a search committee to work with a national search firm to identify prospective replacements.
If the effort fails to find a qualified individual, the board, as announced in a press release, will tap Kent Shields, C.C. Young’s chief operating officer, to serve as interim CEO.
