Celebrating the Good Life

Downing Hill, the Lower Greenville Avenue shop that specializes in items for the outdoors and all things green, this week throws a little fundraising party for the Promise of Peace Community Garden.
The shop offers a free glass of wine to shoppers during the Life is Good event from 5-9 p.m., July 1, and a percentage of its proceeds from the evening go to the community garden.
The garden also puts on its Community Yard Sale at PoP Garden from 7-11 a.m., July 9 and 10, at Promise of Peace.
Organizers still need donated items for the yard sale, so help them out if you can.
