Gifting Life
Staff Report
In yet another example of how life can be unfair, Cole Frieden, a first-grade student at Hexter Elementary School, undergoes chemotherapy and radiation treatments for a malignant brain tumor.
In an effort to support the 7-year-old, the Hexter community organized a blood drive in his name.
Three Carter Blood Care buses pull up to the school from noon-3:30 p.m., May 28. Appointments to give blood can be set up via the binary miracle of e-mail.
Let’s go Cole, kick this thing in its unfair fanny.
