Catch It Before It’s Gone

Staff Report

Today and Saturday mark the final two performances of “Well-Traveled But Not Well Known,” a stage play by One-Thirty Productions.

The play — written by Ellsworth Schave who also penned “A Texas Romance” and “Under a Texaco Canopy” — ends its world premiere run at the Bath House Cultural Center with matinee performances at 1:30 p.m., May 21 and 22.

The story, set in a small Texas town, follows a small circus with the “cleanest elephants anywhere.” It also involves a long-ago murder — still, it’s a comedy — family secrets, and a runaway nun.

Reserved seats are available, and volunteer members of Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center serve as ushers.
