Long Celebrates Cinco de Mayo
Staff Report
J.L. Long Middle School commemorates Cinco de Mayo tonight with a little family fun, food, and festivities.
The school event — 5:30-7:30 p.m., May 5, at Long — includes dinner and performances by the Long band, the Leadership Cadet Corps, and dance classes.
Dinner hits the tables in the cafeteria, and the dance and musical performances take place in the auditorium. It’s all free to J.L. Long families.
The evening also serves as a PTA meeting — so there are all kinds of good stuff from the serious to the celebratory.
