Registration for this year’s Tim Brown Woodrow Wilson Golf Tournament remains open, but it won’t be forever.
The fundraising tournament benefiting the Woodrow Athletic Booster Club — and ultimately all Woodrow sports teams — takes place starting with 11 a.m. registration May 3 at the Tenison Park (audio alert) Highlands Course. The clubhouse, driving range, and putting green also open to Woodrow players at 11 a.m., and lunch follows at 11:30.
The shotgun start opening the Florida scramble tournament happens at 1 p.m., with the wrap-up of prize awards, refreshments, and general merriment starting at 5:30 p.m.
Registration costs $200 for individuals, and the tournament can accommodate up to 144 players. Various sponsorships also remain available.
Team and individual prizes go for longest drive, closest to the pin, and first and second place low gross scores. Bragging rights probably feel pretty good, too.
