Young Activities for the Ageless

A few items and activities of note come from C.C. Young retirement center.
Weekly Adventures in Learning recurs during the month with sessions covering travelogue talks, Spanish classes, painting in watercolors, and playing bridge. The free events take place from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., April 9, 16, and 30. Attend one or all of the sessions each day.
University of North Texas music students perform classical piano recitals at 3 p.m., April 9 and 16, and April 21. The recitals, too, are free.
The Images of Aging Film Club and Discussion group meets at 1:30 p.m., April 13. This month’s film is “Guarding Tess,” starring Shirley MacLaine and Kevin Costner. The free movie and discussion also includes free popcorn.
