Parents of children set to enter kindergarten at the start of next school year — or the 2011-12 school year, for that matter — have the opportunity to preview Stonewall Jackson Elementary School during next week’s Kindergarten Roundup.
The open house takes place at 6:30 p.m., April 8, in the school auditorium.
The event affords parents the chance to check out the school and meet the teachers and administrative staff. Parents of prospective students also will get a view of Stonewall’s annual Special Events week during which the school becomes immersed in a specific culture — Scandinavia this year.
Stonewall also houses the Dallas Regional Day School for the Deaf, the Stonewall Gardens outdoor lab, and is a Blue Ribbon School.
